This A/D appears like memory locations or I/O ports to the microprocessor and no interfacing logic is needed. Differential analog voltage inputs allow increasing the common-mode rejection and offsetting the analog zero input voltage value. In addition, the voltage reference input can be adjusted to allow encoding any smaller analog voltage span to the full 8 bits of resolution. 2) DAC0800. The DAC0800 is monolithic 8-bit high speed current output digital to analog converter featuring typical setting times of 100ns. When used as a multiplying DAC, monotonic performance over a 40 to 1 reference current range is possible. The noise immune inputs of the DAC0800 will accept TTL level with the logic threshold pin, VLC grounded. Changing the VLC potential will allow direct interface to other logic families.
