본문 In Korean society, people tend to obsess with their age or how old they look. It can be seen in advertisement of cosmetic brand which tagert women in their 30s or 40s like SK-2. Because usually these kind of brands take slogans like You can get back your youth . This tendency usually occurs in women. You probably have been heard this phrase It is not polite to ask ladies about their age. So, in this report, I choose this phrase as the feminity of Korean society and carefully experiment that this phrase is true or not and what this means. In my opinion, this phrase is due to the tendency that people tend to view women as sexually attractive and reproductive figure. By this, as women get older they feel they are loosing their value. So they are stressed when being asked about their age. To define this feminity, it is the result of social expectation toward women that watch women in the view I mentioned. Experiment Setting In November 5th, Juyeop Childrens Library I had an experiment against the phase. The reason why I choose this place is that it is for todler to elementary student, so usually 30s or 40 ladies visit here. I thought that they are the most stressed by their age because it is hard to say that they are only young, in another term they are old. The experiment is conducted by asking women how old they are and conducting survey or interview. The survey and interview are consist of question like how they feel when they are asked about their age(1 extremely bad to 5 extremely good). I experiment 15 people in the library. Followings are explaination about them. Five Useres of the Library They asked me to find some books and I found them. So they are favorable enough to me to help me with the experiment.
